La Gretta holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Texas A&M University–Commerce and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate in North Carolina.

La Gretta has several years of experience providing therapeutic care and clinical support in residential, medical, school and community settings. She has worked as a Therapist at Eating Recovery Center, where she facilitated groups, supported clients through their recovery from eating disorders, and collaborated closely with multidisciplinary teams. Her background also includes serving as Director of Social Services at Stonemere Rehab Center, where she oversaw counseling, crisis intervention, and care coordination for residents. Earlier in her career, La Gretta provided advocacy and crisis response for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, developing her deep commitment to trauma-informed, compassionate care. She brings warmth, empathy, and structure to her work, helping clients feel understood and supported in their growth and recovery.
